I work at a Dodge sprinter dealership in Canada and of course the big question or concern is about block heaters on the 2007 models. I received word today from Detroit that Dodge/Mercedes will not have anything available for another 7 months, which will take us out of the season that we need them the most. My question is, has anybody been able to find a heater that will work on these units even if it is an inline heater?

My '02 has the auxillary heater which is a diesel-fired heater that heats and pumps coolant through the block. Don't know, but imagine this option is still available. Could be purchased with a timer that will start and shut off the heater automatically.
