I am new to this forum, recently bought a 208D sprinter minibus which I am mantaining myself.

About 6 weeks ago the starter wouldn't work..turn the key and nothing, try a few times and then it would work. So I bought a secondhand starter off ebay for £10 ($20) which came off a working vehicle. Fitted it last week, fine for a few days then 'click' the same problem.

My question is this, is this just another knackered starter, by coincidence, or is there something else to look at...like a starter relay etc?

If it is the starter is it easy to refurbish myself?

Any advice warmly received.
