Well my sprinter went in on the back of a towtruck today. 29,000 miles oil changes at least every 5000 miles. Looks like a blown engine but stay tuned, more tomorrow

Well it seems from what the dealer is telling me, that the truck place that services my vehicles didn't change the oil filter cover gasket or tork the filter cover down properly. When I drove it out the filter came loose and 14K later I will be back on the road with a new motor. Glad I not his insurance carrier

What have we learned from this experience ? I am only going to the dealer for service from now on
