I am well aware of the turbo resonator concerns I work on sprinters everyday. What I meant by that is don't always assume when you get this symptom that it is the resonator. Because more than half the time it is a torn charge air hose. As far as the aluminum pipe, say it blows off because I had a customer stop by because his blew off after some dodge dealer replaced it, I tightened the clamp as much as I could and it still blew off, it only stopped after putting two clamps on it and overtightening.
