    Default electrical perhaps

I have a 2005 Sprinter that goes into limp mode frequently. When i first bought it and this happened, I took it to a great local mechanic. We changed the turbo charger resonator, radiator hose from intercooler to radiator, and Mass Air Flow Sensor. When I start the van cold, it USUALLY runs great and is a pleasure to drive. If I ever shut it off after its warmed up, it goes into limp mode, restarting it sometimes helps but usually stays in limp mode. The curciut breaker for the mapping curcuits located under the steering column becomes hot to the touch! The mechanic says the diagnostics review claims a potential wiring problem with EGR. Has anyone had grounding issues, or fraid wiring problems with these same issues? thanks, Sprint On my Brothers and Sisters

Both wiring and EGR problems are fairly common on T1N Sprinters. Your mechanic is probably right.
