    ok i got a 05 sprinter that blew a turbo, changed the turbo but now it wont rev past 3 grand...any ideas?

    I would suspect that you have a leak somewhere. Are you sure all the hoses survived the ordeal???

    well also since we have changed the turbo the alternator wont come on...have had it tested and its good...could they be connected somehow....i mean it ran fine till the turbo went out but now it doesnt. it has codes but im going to nashville to pull codes

    Be sure that what you use to check the codes is a DRB III or is compatible. A generic code reader does not work well at all on the Sprinter.

    the turbo resonator is bad.the original was plastic and would crack.updated ones are tougher and better.I've changed two in 200,000 miles and they give the exact symptom you described.

    I think my Turbo may be on the way out. My motor runs hot under load and I can hear the turbo wind down when I turn off the motor.

    Has anyone ever used an electric oil primer/shutdown pump? I have on on my classic VW with good results.
