General maintenance

As far as I have been able to discover, there is nothing available to the general public covering detailed maintenance and servicing on this vehicle. There is no Haynes Manual (UK) or similar, and the only workshop manual is on CD, supplied to Mercedes Dealers and not obtainable to Joe Public, or John Doe as this seems to be an American website. Does anyone in the Land of the Free have any suggestions?

The Sprinter Maintenance CD is available to anyone calling 1-800-890-4038 and paying the $US 90 + shipping.

The Yahoo sprintervan group has over 1300 members and over 8500 posts. It's not likely that the information will berepeated on this lovely site.

I was able to download the entire factory service manual from Foss Dodge in New Hampshire at no charge. It took about three hours to download with my dial-up modem, but it now resides on my desktop! Hope this helps you!

IY section and http://www.sprinter-source.com/forum/ for links to the manual from free posting sites. The links come and go over time depending on demand and willingness of people to post the material.
