transmission fluid levels
how do you check the fluid levels on the transmission?the dip stick has a mb service tech only imprint on it.i did not want to break it by force. is there a special way to release this?

Take it to a dealership, even if you get that off there is no dipstick. We have a special tool at the dealership.

Hey there! You can get a universal dipstick from Mercedes, Freightliner and Dodge. It actually is used in all the 722.6 transmissions so it doesn't stay in the transmission. Its really long (and kinda costly) but a great shop tool. Especially if you have more than one sprinter or a Mercedes 722.6
