    Default Sprinter Project

I am still in the process of getting my sprinter after having kicked the tires a few times since Freightliner first started offering them in the USA. Since this is new forum, I thought I would post this to help get things started and get ideas as well as what I am thinking.

My plan is to start with the following
    - 140 wb SHC 2500 cargo version
    - dual sliding doors
    - windows in rear and sliding doors

Things I will definitely be doing
    - Install Mercedes Grill and Badging (Afterall it is really a Mercedes)
    - Install a body kit consisting of new front bumper/spoiler, rear bumper panel and fender flares like the Euro customs.
    - Install front seat swivel kits to turn the seats to face rear when parked.

Things I am thinking about or looking for ideas on
    - Install a secondary AC,,, not a roof mount, but something unobtrusive in the rear to keep things cool in Texas. Probably will opt for the 2nd factory AC compressor and need to find a solution that could be floor mounted in the rear. A system that could also be plugged into AC power as well as run of the installed compressor would be great.
    - Go to a larger wheel and tire combination.
    - Interiorwise, I will but a heavy insulation package in and finish the roof and walls off with a close pile carpet for sound absorbation and clean look.
    - Rear seating will either be two-four buckets or two bucks and bench seat that will recline out into a 60x78 inch bed.

    Welcome thoughts and ideas.

    Default Sprinter Rear Air

I read a post a while back that said that Red Dot is an approved aftermarket supplier of A/C condensers for Sprinters. Below is where you can find them.

OK, we are getting warmer. I clicked your link and it gave me an empty album. I clicker "my sprinter album"....nothing there to click that says something like "add album" or "add pictures". How do you get to the community link from home page? PLEASE GIVE ME STEP BY STEP INSTRUCTIONS ON HOW TO ADD ALBUM. Frankly i don't understand why this site is so difficult to use. Shouldn't everything be right there for you?

Ok, Sorry you are having troubles. Once you are familar with this "community" program - it's a breeze. The trick is to click the FIRST picture - then you can more images to that "gallery".

Try clicking here and see if you can ADD PICTURES:

OK, I clicked your link and clicked the first picture that you provided and it allows me to add comments to your picture but does not give me any option to add photo's.
