accessing info on the website
I tried looking for web links and articles from the home page, and keep getting a message that I am unauthorised to view the pages.
I have registered and signed in, so how can I see the rest of the site?
Any tips?

bcpots,
You don't have to be a registered user to view articles - your browser must be set to accept cookies though. My guess is that is the problem - do you know how to check that in your browser?
Thanks,
Lawrence

Lawrence,
My computer is set to accept cookies and, I too, get the same message, no authorization to access. Any other ideas? I am a registered user.
vampire@n2net.net (Please put Sprinter in the subject line.)
Thanks and Happy Holidays.

I am also having the same problem. I cannot access anything on this website except the forum. Everything else I try, I get a message saying I am not authorized to access. I too, have cookies enabled. I feel there is a internal problem with the site and not with our individual settings. Let me know what you find out.
Thanks,
Frank

Lawrence,
I'm using MS Internet Explorer 6.0 with SP2. The error message I receive (within the web site, not a pop-up error message) is "not authorised to...access topics, access web links, carry out operation" ...according to what area of the website I try to visit. The area's I'm locked out of are specifically, Sprinter Articles, Sprinter Web Links, Sprinter Reviews, FAQ, Submit News & Members List. The thing that leads me to believe this is a problem with the site and not with my individual settings is the way "authorised" is spelled. If the problem were local to me, I believe the spelling would reflect the Americanized spelling "authorizing" not the British "authorising".
Thanks,
Frank
