    Default fixed sunroof

I was wondering if anyone has changed a fixed sunroof to a manual sunroof on a 04-06 sprinter? I have the plate and handle but cant seem to get the handle to latch onto anything, keeping it from "flying" open.

Has anybody had any experience with this before? If someone has pictures of their manual sunroof and could email them to me, that would be much appreciated.

the van isnt a motorhome, its converted into a workshop on wheels. The city uses it for their traffic light division.

the van doesnt have air and the driver was hoping if he could open his sunroof, he might be a little more comfortable in it.

probably be more cost efficient to just have a new one installed to your needs.

Let's Resurect this post. I have the 2 Factory installed Fixed Glass Sunroofs in my 2006 Hightop. I've dug through the parts books and found the Manual openers which I purchased. About $100 each, This is the complete assembly.. Now I need to find some pictures of these installed, I think that I am missing some part..

Oh by the way, if you have Fixed sunroofs and want to have them open take off the rear facing attachment and turn it 180 degrees and bolt it back on. Stick a Bottle cap between the glass and the van roof and hold it tight against the bottle cap with a bungie cord.. Cheap but effective.. Now I want it to look a little more professional.
