warranty question...

Hi, I'm thinking of buying a 05 12 seater. I am hesitant because the owner installed a killer sound system in but he had to get behind the dash and cut a bunch of wires to splice into it. He also got under the car and replaced the muffler with one that had dual exhaust. The van still falls under the 7/75k mi warranty plan but does the cut in the wires and altering the exhaust system void the warranty?

I might, but that is difficult to say without seeing exactly what was done to it. If you are seroius about buying it, it certainly would be worth a trip to the dealer that will be doing the service to see what he has to say about it. That is not something you would want to find out later.
