Rust rust and more rust

I own 7 Sprinters and at least 5 of them have really bad rust problems, even in the fuel tank.

There is speculation that when they bring them over from Germany in crates that the sea air(salt) gets on the panels and such and upon assembly here they don't acid wash the vehicle prior to painting...hence indiscriminate rusting.

I bought an 08 Sprinter in March. As soon as rain came it started leaking through the A/C vent. I know that others have same problem. The dealer charged me the $100. deductable which I think is a Rip-off since they know this is an on going problem from the factory and should be a recall issue. Also I have had to replace Headlight bulbs 3 times in 6 months. Anybody else w/ same issues.? I guess when a de.aler sells a vehicle for $50,000. its not enough to cover roof leaks only after 6 months... RaY R. in Oregon
