    Default Passenger van seats

We are thinking about buying a sprinter Passenger van.
One question: How hard is it to remove the rear seats?
We were wondering if it was easy to remove them if we needed to haul something in the back (Building materials, ect)

I just had my new passenger van delivered. We immediately removed one row of seats. They are lighter than the 1999 DoDge 2500 van seats from our old van and they came out of the locks easier.

    Default Passeger van seats

I have a 2005 cargo van and am interested in installing a 2-seat bench seat in "row one" behind the front seats. Does anyone out there have a 2-seat bench (along with the floor mount cups and bolts, etc.) that they would like to sell?

2-pass seats can be ordered from a Sprinter dealer parts,
est cost around $ 1,200 for ' seat complete '

If you want Sprinter passenger seats, rather than going to the dealer and paying new prices, check on eBay, http://www.conversion-vans.net/accessories.htm which posts a lot of RV conversion companies stripped out parts, or post a request on the Yahoo Sprinter forum.

    Default Sprinter rear seat removal.

    I have an 06 118" passenger Sprinter.
I have removed the seats several time.
It takes at least two people.
They are hard to handle and hard to store.
They have to come out the side.
They make great chairs when stored on the porch though.

Totally agree about needing two people. But I remove and return all three three-seater seats at least once a month, sometimes more often. They always go out the back door. The side door is more difficult to initiate the transfer becuase of the lack of space and access to the locks; then lack of manuevering room to kick the first seat forward and then side-step out. With the rear access is easier for each seat in succession, once unlocked a one-man leg-braced rotate, then easier access for your helper.

Default Sprinter seats out the back doors.

I can get the mini-three out the back but not the big-three.
    The arm rest prevent it.

I have a brand new 2-seat bench for sale. It is out of a new 2006 Sprinter and still has plastic on cup holder below the seat. I am asking $500. USD for it. Falcon[/quote]

That is why there are three dimensions - the seat can be rotated once disengaged from the receiver cups!
