Question Sprinter delivered - WB Too Long!

Recently purchased a 2008 Cab/Chassis 3500, was supposed to be 144", but turns out its 170"! We had looked up the VIN before the online purchase and it confirmed 144" WB. Vehicle appears to be in really good shape otherwise.

Nice to have the extra length, but we made our decision based on fuel economy and use for a 144" WB. As it is a holiday weekend, I don't expect to hear from the seller until sometime next week. Is this something anyone has experience with or knowledge of?

I'd verify that the information in the ad was correct with the seller. Personally, unless city parking is an issue you may be surprised how much you'll find the additional space can come in handy. Mileage won't be affected too much. maybe 1% more fuel use than the 144" wheelbase. If you were planning to use a custom box on the cab chassis than that can pose as a problem and all told, it's the sellers fault for not confirming the proper dimensions of the vehicle.

I have a 170" 3500 with a reefer 14' box on it and I know if I had ordered the 170" and a 144" shows up, I'd be livid as I had ordered my box already. With the tight turning radius the 170" is very manageable
