loss of power
my 2000 313cdi sprinter,will lack power between 2000 and 3000 revs. if you turn it off and restart it can go like a steam train.any ideas????the other thing it does i noticed is when it is ticking over the exhaust note can change,to a deeper tone...if this means any thing to anybody please let me know.just driven to Switzerland from england!!!!!

hi there i have just fixed this fault that i have had for nine months ,it was the TRANSPONDER, this activates the turbo. It is found under the drivers side headlight (rhd)you have to take the grill and headlamp out, to get to it. It has three rubber pipes connected to it, next to a round , vac' container. After i had fitted it i was so pleased ,as it went so much better, i was really suprised...!!!!!!hope this helps ..it cost £80!!!!!!!!
