Hello: I have a 2006 Mercedes Sprint van and so far, ( I have only had it for 6 months) I have seen 2 problems that seems to be inherant with Mercedes Sprinter: One is the Turbo hose will develop a crack and will cause a code to be set, and speed and power will suffer tremendously. To replace the hose by a dealer was 218.00 dollars. The other problem has been the headlight bulbs. They BOTH went out the other day and I couln't tell you how surprised I was to see that BOTH went out at the same time.
Other than that, it has been a darn good expediting van. Great fuel mileage, plenty of room inside, really easy to drive and manuever, great ride, etc.
I hope to have a lot more worry free miles to come. It has 120,000 on it now.
