Not Shfiting
I have a 2008 250 with 20,000 miles. Within the last two weeks, on three occasions, the vehicle gets stuck in fourth gear and won't shift automatically or manually. If I pull over and turn the engine off, wait, and then restart, the problem resolves itself. Anybody with any thoughts?

I'm having the same problem with my '04. My transmission guy told me that it's a sensor in the transmission. He said he could fix it for between $500-$600. He said the part is about $300. I hope this helps.
