I purchased a 2002 Sprinter with 84,000 miles on it...within the first 4K miles, I had to replace a) sensor in transmission ($1,100) and then b) new transmission ($5,200 - the first $1,100 didn't take care of the problem). Now, about 50,000 miles later, I am having an issue with pickup, highway speeds and power. It will take me 3 - 4 miles from an on ramp to get up to interstate speed and if I have to climb any type of hill, I drop from 75 mph down to 60 mph... I'm kind of afraid to take it in because these are so d>>>> expensive to fix! Any suggestions? I should have at least 5000 more miles on fuel filter...to me it seems like it doesn't kick into overdrive or give me any power... Thanks in advance for any comments...
