texcan Junior Member Join Date: Oct 2009 Posts: 1	Instrument control panel lights 2003, Freightliner 2500; last night I was driving slow I had just gone over a set of RR tracks the ABS & ASR lights came on (the brake pedal had vibrated briefly), then the Engine control light came on and the vehicles power shut down. I restarted the engine the ABS & ASR stayed on. I had trouble 2 times more but finally made it back home . How can I check this system out for maybe a malfunction.Is there anything a real novice can do? I just (2000 miles ago) had a new EGR valve replaced (my 4th on this vehicle) new front brakes, pads and rotors.
