dealer in b'ham told me this could not be reprogramed

Thank's for reply. This can be done becouse I did it before according to the Owner's manual. I can't find my manual. Mer. Benz has a web site with all manuals except the Sprinter Vans. (www.mbusa.com). This site is V.I.N. user I.D. but my VIN dosn't work for M.B. Go figure.........

To switch off automatic locking of the front seat passenger door and the rear seat passenger area/cargo area, press the central locking switch (located near the shifter) at the bottom and hold it for about 5 seconds. The right indicator lamp in the switch will flash twice. Automatic locking when the engine is started is switched off.

Key mus be in position 2 in the igintion lock and all doors closed and then press hold the switch.
