I had to buy new batteries and went ahead and replaced them. Now the transmission will not engage the passing gear when I floor it to get around traffic. RPM's will not go over 2k. I asked around and was told that the computer that manages the transmission must have lost the program or something to that effect that it is now unable to tell the trans to shift. Any truth to this? Any ideas as to why it is behaving as it is?
