No movement, transmission?
Our 2006 dodge sprinter broke down. No rpms, no engin light. Will start and go about 100 ft then stop moving. You can still reeve motor no movement. Please has anyone had this issue before I get a whole new trani.

How many miles??? Has the transmission fluid ever been changed???
I have heard of some cases with low fluid or a plugged trans filter.
It would be worth having a dealer with a DRB III look at it before you spend a fortune.
I is quite possible that it is a bad transmission, but worth doing some checking.

Fluid Level?
Sounds like you lost a lot of fluid suddenly. We had a similar problem last year. Check your fluid level. Check underneath for fluids on the ground.

as a matter of fact there is a seal kit that can be bought to change them out before the big bust...costs about 1200$ to be done at a shop, but cheaper then a new tranny...
