How to replace water pump in 2004 sprinter 2500?
I've got coolant leaking and I'm pretty sure it's the water pump. I'd prefer to purchase one and replace it with a buddy but would like to get as much specific information as possible before we take it on.
Any information or help will be very appreciated.
Thanks,
Phoenix

I just posted the service manual, you can take it from there.

Bob,
Thanks very much. I got the manual from the drop box. It's the first time I've done this so just to clarify, it's not a PDF that I can save to my computer right; it's just a link, so I can use the manual online but not save it; correct?
Thanks,

I just browsed the entire manual. I have a few questions:
Is there any way to download it to my own laptop?
Is there a way to navigate directly to a particular page or an internal search engine?
In the index I find water pump removal and installation listed under pp. 7-20, but I can't actually find it in the manual. The page numbering seems weird. How can I navigate?
And finally, if I wanted to purchase a hard copy of the manual (someday when I have some money) what's the best way to do that?
Thanks a lot for the help.

Sorry guys, I did not realize that. It is in my public folder, so I thought you could share it?
Actually I use Linux, and I adjusted the permissions. See if you can save it now?

It worked! I just saved it as a PDF and I can navigate to the water pump section easily.
Thanks for this. Now comes the dirty work.
