I have a 2006 sprinter van with the 2.7l engine. it is currently showing a 2051 fault for rail pressure exceeded max. while turning the engine over i am getting over 6000psi via the scan tool. have have swapped rails to verify the issue wasn't in the sensor or pressure control to no avail. i have checked the entire fuel return system and all seems ok. the truck as recently had a remaned high pressure fuel pump. a little back history on the unit. it shut down while driving down the interstate and wouldn't refire. turn over but no start. found injectors bad and turbo siezed. replaced turbo and all 5 injectors and truck ran fine for a short while. after about a 20 mile trip down the interstate it shut down and now we have the above mentioned issue. i am kind of reaching the end of my rope on this thing and would really appreciate any help.
