Default A few suggestions for improvement

I got my Sprinter on the first of Nov (I ordered it on the 6th of June) and I have been generally impressed with its compfort and performance. There are, however, a few complaints. First the sunvisors need to be configured so that they swivel to the side windows. If you only drive east or west they are adequate as is but......Second the speed control needs to be relocated away from the turn indicator lever. I already have 11 grand on the odometer and I am still trying to set the cruise with the turnsignal lever. I really like the Ford unit that was integrated into the steering wheel. Third the arm rests on the doors need to be padded in the same way the ones attacted to the seats are. For those of us who use our vans for expediting, the long distances with ones arm on that hard rest can actually bruise to the point where it is painful. Finally, as an option, a tilt steering column would be most welcome to those of us over six feet tall.

Your observations on the Sprinter mimic mine. However, the door armrest has not been a problem for me. I smoke and the position of the ashtray and lighter are badly located, I keep a lighter in the rectangular hole because the lighter is almost impossible to get out, especially with gloves on. An alarming event occurred today. With the ASR activated and travelling between 5-10 MPH, upon braking, there was a god awful noise coming from the drivers front wheel and I believe there was a pulsating sensation. It happened several times. Snow build up was one possible reason, but, I doubt that was the case. It may be awhile before I check back here. If anyone has any input, I can be reached at vampire@n2net.net. Please put Sprinter in the subject line so I don't inadvertently delete it.
    Thanks and Happy Holidays
