Default Important distinctions between Mercedes, Freightliner and Dodge Sprinters?

I'm looking at buying a late model Sprinter. What are the differences between the 3 dealers and what years or models should I avoid? Thanks!

    Carlos5651,
Just my opinion of course, here are some thoughts about your question. Model change in 2007, so stay with 07 and newer. Always been a Mercedes product with the only difference between a Dodge, Freightliner and Mercedes are the grill and badging. The last Dodge models were 2009's, 2010 and newer are either Mercedes or Freightliner, with about 80% of sales being Mercedes-Benz models. The biggest challage is to find any for sale, except for some older models with lots of miles on them. We have been a Sprinter Dealer for 2 years now, and we sell 10 to 15 new Sprinter Vans per month, and have only had 3 used vans in this time frame. I might be a little biased, but buy a new van as you can break it in how you want it to run and make it what you want it to be. Of course I want you to contact me about a new van, so call the Sprinter Guy.
    Dave
